Hailing from San Diego, California, country music and americana singer-songwriter Sam Cary is making a name for herself not only on the local, but international stage. Touring across the country she has had the privilege of playing venues such as Nashville's iconic Bluebird Cafe, Los Angeles' The Mint, as well as Southern California favorites Storm Stadium, the mainstage at Pala Casino, and many more. With influences such as Chris Stapleton, Miranda Lambert, and Kacey Musgraves, Sam brings her own unique culmination of these sounds to the stage with soul soaked vocals and original lyrics that cut right to the core. Her debut album "Ungodly Hours" was written and recorded with some of Nashville's finest at the famous "Sound Kitchen Studios" and produced by Grammy nominated producer Billy Smiley. She's been featured in publications and media such as, Guitar Girl Magazine, Country Music News International, Scenes Media, Southern Fellow, and ABC 10 News. Her music video for the title track of her debut album was also featured on The Country Network following its release in late 2021. When it comes to the heart of the matter, songwriting is everything to Sam. Drawing from her own personal experiences with tragic loss and grief, as well as heartbreak and the growing pains that come with becoming an adult, Sam's songs paint deep pictures that are bound to make you smile, laugh, cry, and everything in-between. She believes music is one of the purest expressions of the soul and has the power to impact in a way most things can't. With the upcoming release of some of her rawest music to date, she hopes to not only touch the hearts and minds of the listeners, but also to be a voice for those who need it.
